Fantastic opportunity for ‘all-round’ graphic/digital designer to make a valuable contribution in an expanding Surrey based studio. The successful candidate would get involved at every stage of a project with the opportunity to work across a broad client base and a wide variety of industry sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be split between print based design, including logos, branding, stationery, brochures and digital media including websites, design and programming (front-end), e-blasts, and banner ads etc.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
In order to apply for this job you will typically have experience creating websites and your portfolio will include both internet-related and print design work within a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have creative flair and a keen eye for detail, looking to progress and develop a successful career in the creative industry.

You will be art school trained, degree or equivalent and skilled in the use of the usual programmes such as InDesign/Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as being proficient in HTML/CSS. Any other programming knowledge would be advantageous.

We will consider exceptional recent graduates for this role who have the right skill set but with limited commercial experience. You will need to demonstrate creativity, passion, energy and drive through your personal and educational projects.

Salary:
£18,000 – £25,000 – depending on skills and experience

Where necessary and appropriate we can provide identity guidelines with our logos to ensure your brand remains consistent. This can be as comprehensive as needed, from a simple 4-5 page pdf covering anything from logos, fonts and colours to advertising, signage and vehicle livery. The manual is then distributed to all service providers, ensuring the brand remains consistent, whoever is handling it.

If you do then you’re no doubt already publicising your company’s Twitter and looking for more followers. Another useful way of utilising your tweets is integrating them into your website so anyone viewing your site is also kept up to date with your most recently tweeted news.

We’ve applied this to several of our clients’ sites and they’ve found it a useful tool for quick updates. Not only is it very user friendly but it also has positive SEO implications. Tying in your site and Twitter account creates a stronger relationship between the two and gives another source for people to access or find your Twitter content.
